Information & Class Requirements
It is strongly recommended that Intermediate Jazz students take more than 1 class a week to maintain and improve their technique. It is highly recommended that Tap students begin class in the fall.
At the Spring Concert each class, excluding the Companies, appears in one number. Students wishing to appear in more than one number should be enrolled in more than one class.
COMPANY MEMBERS must be enrolled in at least two classes, there are no exceptions. Membership in the Companies is by invitation of Ms. Casagrande. Company members will be added throughout the year, as Ms. Casagrande decides students are ready.
HOT SHOES is not responsible for injuries sustained in class or personal property loss.
HOT SHOES reserves the right to cancel any class with insufficient enrollment.
Three make-up classes are allowed per session. Classes must be made up in the current session.

Dress & Shoe Requirements
Unlike other area studios, we are very flexible about what our students can wear.
Our only dress requirement is that some type of dancewear be worn.
School clothes, jeans, etc. are not permitted.
JAZZ / TAP
Dancewear: Any color or style or make.
Jazz shoes: Black
Soft soled, flexible. No hard soled jazz shoes.
Tap Shoes: Black
Patent leather with attached taps for younger students.
"Mary Jane" small heals for intermediate students.
Character shoes or jazz/tap shoes in black for all others.
HIP HOP Shoes:
Jazz sneakers, black
BALLET
Dancewear: Leotards in any color, pink or white tights. Ballet skirts are permitted.
Ballet Slippers: Pink. Any brand that is comfortable and gives proper support.
Hair: Should be worn up or away from face.
